I instantly felt for Agnes as she told her story in the initial emails. In the first few emails sent back and forth, the reader sees the characters quickly throw caution to the wind and move forward in complete vulnerability to a stranger on the internet. I LOVE that this story is set up as a collection of correspondence between two people.
